Corpus Christi Hydrovac

How hydrovac quotes work here

You send the job once. Independent local operators read it and quote you directly.

Not a contractor

Corpus Christi Hydrovac is a quote-request service. It doesn't own trucks, employ crews or dig.

What it does is collect the details a hydrovac operator needs to price a dig (town, scope, depth, ground, timing, 811 status, site rules) and pass them to independent local operators who work Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend.

Those operators are separate businesses. Each decides whether to take your job, sets its own price, and answers for its own equipment, crews, licensing, insurance and compliance. We don't inspect any of that for you, so ask each operator for proof before you hire.

Sending a request costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. You can compare the quotes you get, take one, or take none.

Four steps

From the form to a signed quote, with the handoffs spelled out.

  1. Send the job

Use the form or WhatsApp. Tell us the town and site, what's buried, how many holes or how much trench, how deep, and when. An 811 ticket number helps if you have one.

  2. We route it

We pass your request to independent hydrovac operators who work Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend. Plant and terminal jobs go to operators who say they can meet site onboarding.

  3. Operators quote you

Operators contact you directly with price, truck, crew and availability. Ask each one for insurance certificates and the paperwork your site needs, as you would on any bid.

  4. You choose

You hire the operator you pick and deal with them directly. The contract, schedule, safety plan and payment are between you and them.

What we do and don't

What we send

Your answers from the form: job type, town, site access, size and depth of the dig, what's in the ground, disposal, timing, your 811 ticket and any site rules, plus your contact details so operators can reach you.

Who gets it

Independent hydrovac operators who work the Coastal Bend. They answer for themselves. Nobody is bound to respond, and nobody is bound to take your job.

What we don't do

We don't sign contracts, schedule trucks, take payments or deposits, set prices, supervise the dig or inspect a job site. All of that is between you and the operator you pick.

If something goes wrong

Questions about price, scope, schedule or damage are for you and the operator. We aren't a party to your contract. If gas is escaping or someone is in danger, leave the area and call 911 first.

What to ask each operator

  • Insurance certificatesAsk for current certificates and have your site's or your company's minimums ready to compare.
  • Onboarding paperworkPlants, terminals and ports commonly want orientation, safety pre-qualification and work permits before a truck enters. Ask what the operator already has and what it still needs from you.
  • What the rate includesAn hourly or day rate may leave out travel, minimum hours, disposal, standby and overtime. Ask what is in and what is extra, and get it in writing.
  • Where the spoil goesWater-dug spoil comes out as slurry. Ask who hauls it, where it goes and whether it is priced by the load, the hour or the day.
  • Who holds the 811 ticketThe excavator is responsible for notifying Texas 811. Agree who calls, who keeps the ticket number and who renews it on a long job.

For a rough sense of the numbers, published guides put hydrovac work at about $200 to $450 an hour and $3,500 to $4,500 a day. Those are typical market ranges, not our rates, and your quotes can land outside them.

Your details

Your request is emailed to us and shared with the operators who quote. The privacy notice lists what the form collects and how to ask us to delete it. Use of the site is covered by the terms.

Send the job details

Four short steps. Rough numbers are fine, and an 811 ticket number helps if you have one.

We pass your request to independent local operators who quote you directly. We don't own trucks or do the digging.
