Who we are
Corpus Christi Hydrovac is a quote-request service. We take the details of a hydro excavation job and pass them to independent local operators, who quote you directly. We don't own trucks or do the digging. This notice covers the information you give us through this website.
What the quote form collects
Only what you type or choose:
- The job: job type, town, address or nearest intersection, site access
- The scope: how many holes or how much trench, depth, what is in the ground, disposal, and any notes
- Timing and site rules: start date, how long the work will run, your Texas 811 ticket number, who owns the site or the lines, and whether contractor onboarding is required
- You: name, company, role, phone, email, how you prefer to be contacted and your language
Name and a way to reach you are needed to send a request. Everything else is optional. The form also records the page you were on, the first page you landed on in that visit and the site you came from, so we can see which pages produce requests. A short-lived note of the landing page and referrer is kept in your browser tab until you close it.
Who receives it
When you press send, your request is delivered by email through FormSubmit, a form-handling service that processes it for us. It lands in our inbox, and we share it with the independent local hydrovac operators who may quote the job, so they can contact you. Those operators then hold your details and use them to answer your request. They are separate businesses with their own privacy practices.
We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
WhatsApp and email
If you choose WhatsApp or the email button, your message goes through WhatsApp or your own email app instead of the form. We receive whatever you write and your phone number or email address. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own privacy terms. After you send the form, the confirmation also offers a WhatsApp link with a short summary of your job, which you can send if you want a faster reply. It is opened by you; nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.
Cookies, fonts and analytics
The site doesn't use advertising cookies. The page text is set in a font loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. If we turn on Google Analytics to count visits, it sets cookies and sends visit data to Google, and we will update this page when that happens.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep requests for as long as they are useful for following up and for our records of which pages work. To ask us to delete your request, or to ask what we hold about you, use the email button below and tell us the name and town you used. We will delete what we hold. We can't delete copies that operators already received, so you will need to ask them directly.
Changes
